Ramadan Basket 2024

Ethiopia is currently facing a wide range of social and economic crisis mainly due to the high inflation rate, war, and conflicts in different areas of the country and the harsh drought in Somali and some parts of Oromia resulting in a large number of IDPs and affecting food and nutrition security.

Taking the month of Ramadan, which is a month of giving, solidarity, and mercy as an opportunity, BCDA's Ramadan Basket 2024 aims to provide essential food assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and poverty-stricken families in different towns of Ethiopia during this holy month, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and can observe Ramadan with dignity and respect.

In the past 10 years, BCDA's Ramadan Baskets have reached over 82,588 beneficiaries!
