Accordingly, to support children grow up to being successful individuals, Backa Community Development Association strives to provide access to quality and sustainable lifetime education opportunities. Through its "Education for all" programs, BCDA aims to bring about decreased dropouts and performance disparities of target students due to lack of school supplies and to raise awareness and performances of students, teachers, school administrators, parents, and respective stakeholders and to improve their overall capacity.

Backa Community Development Association's orphan sponsorship program is designed to help tackle issues Ethiopian orphans and vulnerable children are facing using tailored techniques. The program will secure basic needs of sponsored children including shelters, food, education fees and clothing. It will also provide psychological and social support to ensure a decent and safe life for the children.
